DO NOT FORGET!!!!!
The Leon Sur Church will be fasting and praying all day FRIDAY and SATURDAY. Everyone will be practicing these spiritual disciplines in different ways and with different rules. It will all be done in silence and secrecy before the Lord.
We invite you to join us. The goal is to be ready to listen to God tell us the direction of the Church in the next year. There are many goals, plans, desires, dreams, and people which we care for deeply. Sin is at the door, the gospel needs to be taken to a dying world.
When we leave it all to God, then all will be godly.
Praise Him for his glorious grace for you and me.
"When you practice some appetite-denying discipline to better concentrate on God, don't make a production out of it. It might turn you into a small-time celebrity but it won't make you a saint. If you 'go into training' inwardly, act normal outwardly. Shampoo and comb your hair, brush your teeth, wash your face. God doesn't require attention-getting devices. He won't overlook what you are doing; he'll reward you well."
